What types of moulds and dies does Taize manufacture?
Taize specialises in three core lines: automotive precision stamping dies, thick-sheet vacuum forming moulds, and custom aluminium die casting tooling. We also build injection moulds, blow moulds (pallets, sleeve boxes, lid-and-base containers), and provide CNC precision machining and non-standard automation as supporting capabilities.
Which quality certifications does Taize hold?
Taize operates under IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems across the relevant manufacturing units. These cover automotive and general industrial customers, and IATF 16949 is what European automotive tier suppliers typically require from a tooling partner.
Is DFM analysis really free before we place an order?
Yes. We provide free DFM analysis at the project start, including mould-flow simulation and deformation analysis, so potential risks and part-design issues can be resolved before any steel is cut. You receive the DFM report together with our quotation.
How fast can you deliver a prototype?
Rapid prototypes can be delivered in as little as 48 hours using 3D printing or CNC machining. Production tooling lead time depends on part complexity, cavity count and steel selection, and we provide progress tracking throughout the build.
What machining tolerances can you hold?
High-speed CNC milling holds plus or minus 0.003 to 0.005 mm. Wire EDM (slow-feed) holds plus or minus 0.003 mm, and coordinate measuring with our Hexagon CMM verifies to plus or minus 0.003 mm.
Which mould steels do you normally use?
We work with H13, 2344, S136, 718 (P20/PX88), NAK80, DC53 and DC11, selecting the grade according to part material, production volume and required tool life. For automotive stamping work, DC53, Cr12MoV and H13 are the most common choices.
Can you supply customers in Europe and handle after-sales locally?
Yes. We export to Europe, the Middle East, South America, North America, Oceania, Southeast Asia and Russia/CIS. For European customers we coordinate local after-sales support, and our English-language team handles technical communication directly so there is no translation layer between your engineers and ours.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Moulds are custom tooling, so the minimum is one set per project. For the moulded or die-cast parts themselves, minimum batch size depends on material and process and is confirmed at quotation.
Do you provide samples?
Yes. Free samples are commonly offered for up to 200 shots on injection and die casting projects. Trial material can either be supplied by the customer or purchased on your behalf.
How does your quoting process work?
Send drawings, a sample part, or 3D data. We run a free DFM analysis, then quote based on process, material, cavity count and lead time. As a reference point, small cold-runner moulds start at approximately RMB 28,000 depending on specification.
Do you support OEM and build-to-print or reverse engineering?
Yes. We build tooling from customer drawings or sample parts, and we can also re-design or reverse-engineer (3D scan) an existing part when drawings are not available. OEM branding and custom packaging are both supported.
How are moulds packed and shipped for export?
Moulds are packed to international export standard in moisture-proof, shock-resistant wooden cases. We ship by sea or air freight, and every shipment includes a packing list plus transfer of tooling data and documentation.
Do you also make blow-moulded plastic pallets and logistics packaging?
Yes. We produce blow-moulded pallets (nine-leg, chu-character and double-sided types), sleeve boxes and lid-and-base containers as OEM custom plastic parts, all recyclable.
Are you a trading company or the actual mould manufacturer?
Taize (Huzhou) International Trade Co., Ltd. is the export-facing entity for a Huzhou-based mould manufacturing operation. Design, machining, assembly, trial and inspection are carried out in our own workshop, and we hold the equipment list and inspection records to prove it. This structure is why we can offer free DFM and firm tooling guarantees.
What is the typical process from enquiry to first article?
The sequence is: enquiry and drawing review, free DFM analysis and quotation, tool design approval, steel purchase and rough machining, precision machining and EDM, assembly and fitting, trial shots with CMM inspection, sample approval, then export packing and shipment. Each stage has a defined sign-off point with you.
